Sabino

The complete Package

Lewis Energy Group uses its decades of experience in oil and gas exploration and production in South Texas to perfect the skill of drilling, completing, gathering, and operating in very challenging plays while keeping costs under control. To better control costs and performance, Lewis Energy Group integrates oilfield services and midstream business units with its E&P company in South Texas. Critical pieces of Lewis’s vertical integration business model include Sabino Energy Services, Lewis Resource Management and Navarro Midstream Services, all of which are based in Encinal, Texas.

Drilling

The internal drilling services provide full-service drilling capabilities with our fleet of five AC triple rigs. The drilling fleet is equipped with a walking system, high torque top drives, 7,500 psi circulating systems, and 5-1/2” drill pipe for optimal pad drilling efficiencies on laterals exceeding 10,000’. The drilling fleet also includes two super single rigs, one SCR rig, and one water well drilling rig.

Drilling Fluids

The Drilling Fluids/Solids Control department provides specialized mud formulations, both water-based and oil-based, material deliveries from our warehouse to location, and on-site engineering to Lewis Energy’s fleet of drilling rigs. Our in-house engineers are specially trained to oversee both the drilling fluids as well as Solids control equipment at the well site. The drilling fluids facility is state-of-the-art in scope and ability with the capacity to test and formulate all drilling fluids, run particle size distribution tests, and the capacity to provide service to more than 10 rigs at once.

Frac

Sabino Frac has current capacity of 237,000 HP and has completed over 20,000 stages in various formations throughout South Texas. Sabino is considered one of the most reliable and highest performing fleets in South Texas, with the capability to meet the most demanding pressure and pump rate requirements in the industry. Sabino utilizes the latest fracturing technology, from a fully integrated high-pressure hose system to a fully dedicated dual fuel frac fleet, to complete wells as efficiently as possible.

Wireline

Sabino Wireline utilizes three cased-hole wireline units in conjunction with the most advanced perforating systems to support Lewis Energy’s completion activity. The Wireline department is focused on providing the most reliable cased-hole electric line service for perforating, logging, packer setting, and tractor conveyed operations. All this is accomplished while minimizing the cost associated with traditional wireline services.

Coil Tubing

Sabino Coil Tubing provides a wide range of both thru-tubing and extended lateral intervention services via 1-1/4”, 2”, and 2-5/8” coil tubing units. These units minimize shut-in time of production volume and add to overall well completion efficiency.

Water Services

Sabino Water Services primarily supports Lewis Energy’s water resource needs for both drilling and completions (D&C). Lewis Energy has purchased and developed water resources in its core area, making the water services team essential to maximizing the value of those resources by supplying water in an efficient and timely manner while preventing waste of the valuable resource.
